In addition to celebrating our special day with us, you can enjoy the adults-only, all-inclusive resort experience where all your meals, and alcohol are included with your stay.

We are working with JM Destination By Design to arrange resort accommodations and airport transfers for our wedding guests. To attend our wedding events and enjoy a relaxing getaway, please book your room within our wedding group via the Reservation Form.

We ask that you book your stay directly from this site as guests that book outside the group may incur additional fees to attend the wedding events. Please note, guests are responsible for booking their own flights.

We have secured rooms for our guests at Atelier Playa Mujeres February 12, 2026 - February 16, 2026. If you’d like to extend your stay, please indicate the dates you are looking for on the reservation form and the travel agency will check for rooms based on availability. If you have a preference on bedding, please use the "Notes / Special Requests" section at the bottom of the booking form to specify a king or double beds.

All guests must be staying at this resort in order to attend the wedding. To book a room within our wedding group, a minimum 3-night stay is required. You can book your room via the Reservation Form for only $100 or the complete cost of travel insurance at the time of booking. Please submit your Reservation Form by June 15, 2025 and Final Payment on or before July 31, 2025.

Transportation can be conveniently booked directly through the booking form on this website with Lomas Travel. You are welcome to choose and arrange your preferred option for travel to and from the airport. Please ensure that your transportation is booked ahead of time to ensure a smooth arrival and departure! If you are traveling on the exact same flight with multiple guests, you can book one private transfer to share (up to 7 guests)! Only one reservation will have to select the transferportation add-on, and the remaining can select "No Transfers".

Check-in Policy:

FAQ'S

Is this hotel all inclusive?
- Yes! Atelier is an all inclusive luxury resort! Everything is included with your stay including, but not limited to: food, beverages, alcoholic beverages, all bars and restaurants on property, room service, mini fridge, and pool bars. Please note the only restaurant that is not included is Maria Dolores as this is a Michelin Star restaurant. However, you are free to make a reservation and enjoy!
When do I need to book my room?
- The final deadline for booking a room is June 15, 2025. However, we encourage you to book as soon as possible to help us get an accurate headcount and ensure availability. Thanks for your understanding!
How much is the room deposit?
- There is a $100 deposit fee, or the price of travel insurance
When do I pay for the hotel room?
- All final payments will be due by July 31, 2025.
Is my trip refundable?
- Cancellations prior to July 31, 2025 are assessed as a $100 per room penalty. Cancellations after July 31, 2025 are fully non-refundable. Travel insurance is offered through this website at booking and provides a selection of refund options for guests. Depending on the type of travel insurance, guests are eligible for a cash refund or future travel credit. Travel insurance is HIGHLY recommended and encouraged!
Is there a payment plan option?
- There is no automatic payment plan option. However, once reservations are confirmed, guests will receive a payment link where you will be able to submit payments at your own convenience until the final payment date of July 31, 2025.
How do I RSVP?
- Please book accommodations through this website by the deadline of June 15, 2025. Formal invite to follow regarding final RSVP.
Are there any additional fees and/or taxes?
- Yes. The following destination fees are NOT included and cannot be collected or paid for in advance. These additional taxes and fees will be paid at check-in through the hotel. The total additional fees are approximately $25.00 USD per person (subject to change based on current exchange rates). The breakdown of the following taxes & fees can be shown as:
- Riviera Maya Eco Tax- Municipality of Solidaridad
- The municipality of Solidaridad will be charging an Eco Tax of 20.00 Pesos (approximately $1.10 USD) per room per night. These funds are being used to protect, maintain and conserve the natural beauty of the destination, and its surrounding areas.
- Cancun and Puerto Morelos Environmental Sanitation Tax
- The Municipal Government of Benito Juarez will be charging all guests in the area of Cancun and Puerto Morelos an Environmental Sanitation Tax of a minimum of 30.00 Pesos (approximately $2.00 USD) per guest per night. These funds are being used to protect, maintain and conserve the beauty of the area.
- Cancun - Quintana Roo
- The state of Quintana Roo has implemented a new mandatory tax, VISITAX, to be paid by visitors departing Cancun and Cozumel on April 21, 2021 and onward. The tax is approximately $10.00 USD per person (subject to change depending on current exchange rate).
I want to stay longer than the 4 days, can I extend my trip?
- Yes! Guests have the option to extend their stay for up to 7 days at the same rate as the hotel room block.

How far is the airport to the hotel?
- The hotel is located approximately 40 minutes from the Cancun International Airport (CUN).
Do I need a passport?
- Yes! Please ensure your passport is up to date. Please keep in mind that if your passport expires within 6 months of the travel date you will NOT be permitted to travel internationally per TSA and federal regulations.
Is Cancun safe?
- Yes! Playa Mujeres is a safe and secure area, as it is in a gated community just North of Cancun and the famous hotel zone. However, please keep in mind, as with any travel destination, it is always important to remain aware of your surroundings and exercise general caution when traveling.
What airlines fly to Cancun, Mexico?
- Most airlines fly to Cancun, Mexico (CUN) such as Delta, Spirit, American Airlines, United Airlines, Alaska Airlines, Frontier Airlines and JetBlue. Please check with your local airline company for available flights and schedules.
Do I need a reservation for the restaurants on property? How do I do that?
- Yes. You are able to make reservations for the restaurants through the Atelier hotel app. You may make reservations for the restaurants after you check in. More details to come regarding dinner reservations at a closer date.
Can I bring my children?
- No, unfortunately Atelier Playa Mujeres is an adult only resort.
Can I bring a plus one?
- Please refer to your invitation regarding if a plus one is indicated. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation!

Price Matching

Find a lower price?

It's very important that you make your booking with the wedding group via the Reservation Form as it is required to attend wedding events. If you choose to book outside of the group, you may incur additional fees to attend wedding events.

If you find a better rate, please let us know and submit it for a price match.

Please take a screenshot which includes date/time the rate was found, website, number of adults, ages of children (if applicable), room category, travel dates and price in USD. The resort requires this information when reviewing a price match request.

How to submit a room-only price match:

1. Submit your reservation as normal via the Reservation Form. In the "special requests/ notes" field, enter the room-only rate you found in USD and where you found the rate.

2. E-mail a screenshot that includes the offer details listed above to [email protected]

Your credit card won't be charged until the lower rate is confirmed with the resort. You will receive a complete reservation itinerary to review and approve with adjusted pricing prior to charging the credit card submitted.

Price Matching Details:

Room only rates in USD must be publicly available (membership clubs excluded) to be considered by the resort for a price match.

Vacation package rates which include airfare, airport transfers and/or travel protect cannot be price matched.

Advanced Payment rates (full payment is due at the time of reservation and are usually non-refundable/non-changeable) cannot be price matched.

All price matches are subject to approval by the resort. Destination By Design cannot guarantee a price match request will be approved by the resort.
